Many members of 282 enjoyed finally speaking(posting) their true feelings about life in the Fire House.
Members of 282 include FF's and even high ranking management level Officers. Obvious conflict of interests at contract time.
A handful full of premadonna's with Gold on their collars abuse their authority. They use rank to influence everything from who eats what, to who is in or out of the club.
New members learn quick that you follow their lead even if its contrary to ones own morals. Those same people of rank misinform members on contract issues and manipulate their opinions at contract time.
There are many hard working men and women in the BFD. They are there for all the right reasons and they deserve better.
Why does the Fire Department Union allow members of rank to jump in and out of management at will?
Why does the Union protect the vary people who are undermining the Union Members?
